Remember When You Thought You Couldn’t?

But you did.

You survived the first wave of lockdown you can do it again! Stock up on books, crafts, Netflix shows and movies. Stay indoors and wait it out! You got this.

For those who aren’t in lockdown anymore but are struggling to get back to work or integrate back into society, you got this. Believe in yourself and go out there and slay!

Putting one foot in front of the other is all that’s necessary. If covid has taught us anything it’s a marathon, not a sprint.

Everything will be okay, just like it has before. Yes, the world may look scary now, or scarier now but it’ll pass.

It will pass. The sun will shine again, and we will be able to thrive again.

Think of this time as a hibernation, as bears do in winter or like caterpillars do before turning into butterflies. Take this time to reflect, find peace and bounce back stronger than before. We know you can do it! We have all done it, we may not be the same as the beginning of the year, but isn’t that great? We became better people, keep being better & doing better. Spread love, wear a mask and fight for what’s right.

We are all in this together, if you need support please reach out to your local mental health services like lifeline and just have a chat about what’s going on for you. Having a place to put your thoughts & feelings is vital to letting go and moving forward with a better mindset.

Reach out, be kind, don’t stop loving or let the world make you bitter, you got this.
