Everything you need to know about Sharp Minds Psychology, all in one place

Is telehealth therapy covered by insurance?

At Sharp Minds Psychology we have a number of clinicians with different qualifications which affects whether sessions are covered by insurance. To see a psychologist with us, you can use a mental health treatment plan from your GP to be able to access a Medicare Rebate, which allows you to gain back a portion of the cost you pay to see our psychologists. Our counsellors aren’t yet covered by Medicare so they are full fee to see.

The benefits of telehealth therapy include increased accessibility, convenience, and comfort. It also eliminates barriers such as travel time and cost.

How is telehealth therapy different from in-person therapy?
