How would you describe your year? Was it good? Was it bad? Was it unbearable? Was it all of the above?
For so many 2020 sucked. It was a rollercoaster of a year with up & downs, with highs & lows, with relaxation & burnout.
It’s safe to say, for many it was the hardest year of their life to date.
So how can we turn a difficult year into a new beginning?
Well, firstly by saying goodbye to 2020 & letting go of all of the turmoil it has brought up. Vow to leave all that shit, in the past. Leave it where it belongs, the trash.
Go into 2021 with a better mindset, a better sense of self & who you allow into your circle. Make the cuts. Make the changes that you want to see & be.
If 2020 has taught us anything, is that life is too short. So, do what you want, while you can.
Set monthly goals for your mental health, your fitness, your personal life & work life. Go the extra mile & set yourself some dreams to chase.
Remember where you have come from, remember all that you’ve been through & overcome. Let these triumphs and failures guide you into your new now. Let your gut tell you all that you need to know.
Do what feels right for you instead of what is right for others. You’re the only one you need validation or encouragement from. You got this.
Take life by the horns and say yes to opportunity. Trust us, it’s worth it. Prove us wrong, go ahead!
Plan for a life you love.
Let go of everyone else’s expectations and start living for yourself.
Explore what true happiness is for you.
That’s how you turn a difficult year into a new beginning. That’s how you start thriving instead of surviving.
